Annual Gathering/Open House November 10

WHCNOTE: Post-Meeting updates will be posted soon!

Greetings, neighbors!

This year, SESNA’s annual gathering will be held at the Willamette Heritage Center/Mission Mill, in the beautiful Dye House. We’ve moved it from a weekday evening to a Saturday afternoon to make it more family-friendly and fun.

We’re still working out the final details, but here’s what you can expect:

Before 4:00 PM: Come early and tell the folks at the front desk that you’re there for the SESNA event, and you want to take the Mill tour. You can do the tour for free, as our and the Center’s guest!

4:00 – 6:00 PM: Join us in the Dye House for free, locally-crafted food and an Open House where you can pick who you want to hear from at tables and displays around the room. You can also stop in the shops at the Willamette Heritage Center and do a little shopping.

At about 5:00 PM, we’ll take a break from the fun and take care of some business. We’ll need to elect the board; as a resident of SESNA or the designated representative of a business in SESNA, you get a vote. You can also nominate yourself or another member to the board. What would you like to accomplish in 2019?

We will also need to give out Beautification Awards and announce a few other great things happening in the neighborhood and the city, and tell you how you can get involved.

Then, back to the food and fun!

  • When: Saturday, November 10, 4:00 – 6:00 PM
  • Where: Willamette Heritage Center/Mission Mill, 1313 Mill Street SE, Salem 97301

Volunteer Opportunity: Can you help distribute flyers before the Annual Gathering/Open House, to help make sure your neighbors know about this fun neighborhood event? Contact us and let us know! We sure could use a hand, with 2,400 homes and 400 businesses in the neighborhood.
