In 2010, after years of close partnership and shared vision, Mission Mill Museum (established 1964) and the Marion County Historical Society (established 1950) merged to form the Willamette Heritage Center. Today the Center connects generations by preserving and interpreting the history of the Mid-Willamette Valley.

SESNA resident Dave MacMillan received the City of Salem ‘At Your Service’ Volunteer Award for 2017. Dave volunteered for the Salem Heritage Neighborhood Subcommittee, focusing on documenting historic buildings in SESNA. At the end of 2015, our neighborhood was designated a Heritage Neighborhood. In celebration, we have created this Heritage Neighborhood calendar. All proceeds from calendar sales will support neighborhood projects. Printing is provided by Fox Blue. Calendars are $15 each.
